This activity is a unique collaboration between ethnobotanist Dr. Prateep Panyadee (Artist in Residence) and floral artist Be Phumirat. Together, they invite you to walk through Kad Luang (Chiang Rai Municipal Market 1), experiencing it as a living natural classroom deeply connected to the local way of life. Participants will learn how to observe and identify seasonal local plants and their unique properties. You will also get hands-on experience in properly creating plant specimens (plant pressing) using the exact methods employed by botanists to record biodiversity.
