Emotional Mapping

An emotional cartography of Gad Luang that maps feelings, memories, and imaginations rather than physical boundaries. The piece was created through the perspectives of vulnerable individuals navigating emotional and social precarity.

Incorporating handcrafted materials and cultural textiles from highland ethnic vendors who trade in the market, the map translates personal feelings of fear, comfort, and belonging into tangible textures. This collaborative artwork transforms Kad Luang into an empathetic, safe space—honoring the diversity of everyday struggles and the shared resilience of mountain and market communities.
